About The Position

Join our Team Hotel Common Area Person We are seeking a skilled common area person person to join our dedicated team at the Hilton Garden Inn located in Wooster, Ohio. As a common area person you will be responsible for ensuring a clean public area of our property, and follow all Hilton brand standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with hotel guests, staff, and management
• Strong leadership abilities

Nice To Haves

• Preferred experience in facilities, or hotel role

Responsibilities

• Keep up on the upkeep of the grounds, including picking up trash, pulling weeds, clean up around dumpster area, and any other tasks given by the manager
• Maintain inventory and supplies and equipment needed
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols and brand standards
• Provide exceptional customer service to hotel guests, staff, and management
• Complete all tasks in a timely manner
• Carpet cleaning as needed
• Assist in setting up conference rooms for meetings, parties, etc
