About the Hotel & Role: Projected to open in April 2026, our 124 - room Echo Suites offers essential amenities like kitchens with cooktops and full-sized refrigerators, smart TVs, and free WiFi. We are seeking Hotel Assistant Manager - the Hotel Assistant Manager will assist in running daily operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and managing a small team. Since this property is straightforward with a focus on essential amenities and long-term residency, your main duties will be executing efficient day-to-day management and building strong guest relationships. This is a hands-on role in a lean, residential-style environment, focused on delivering a consistent, comfortable experience. JOB SUMMARY: The Hotel Assistant Manager supports the Hotel Manager in overseeing all operational aspects of a limited-scope hotel, ensuring the highest standards of guest service and satisfaction. This hands-on role acts as a key support, working to create an exceptional guest experience. Upon the request of the Hotel Manager, the HAM may have a specific focus to support a particular department.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of hotel supervisory experience.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position during the shift.
  • Must be able to access and navigate the facility.
  • Must adhere to safety requirements and wear appropriate protective equipment.
  • May require physical exertion, including the ability to move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in managing all hotel operations, including housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services, ensuring seamless coordination and efficiency.
  • Helps implement and maintain standards for cleanliness and maintenance throughout the hotel, ensuring that all areas meet or exceed expectations.
  • Conducts regular inspections to ensure compliance with standards and regulations, informing the Hotel Manager and ensuring all rooms are in operational order and free of out-of-order status.
  • Provides support to the Hotel Manager in staffing the hotel to appropriate business levels to meet demand and ensure coverage during any staffing shortages.
  • Assists in achieving monthly Gross Operating Profit, ensuring the hotel meets financial goals.
  • Helps maintain minimum acceptable standards for third-party OTA bookings.
  • Supports and serves as a liaison with the regional sales team.
  • Maintains a visible presence in public areas, actively engaging with guests and staff.
  • Helps ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
