Hot Plant Laborer - Pocatello
About The Position
Join the Suncore Construction & Materials Team as a Hot Plant Laborer! The hot plant laborer performs various duties within an asphalt plant to ensure operations run safely and efficiently. Maintains excellent housekeeping around the plant by shoveling, performs repairs as needed to plant equipment and performs preventative maintenance to keep the plant running. Things You’ll Do Perform plant inspections, diagnose problems, and perform preventative plant maintenance. Maintain and service production machinery. Replace and adjust machine wear parts. Light metal fabricating and other tasks as delegated. Maintain tools as required to perform job. Maintain safe work environment.
Requirements
- Must be 18+ years to apply.
- Exceptional problem solving, and technical skills.
- Must be safety conscious and have a good safety record.
- Must be proficient in the use of pneumatic and hand tools.
- Must be dependable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Nice To Haves
- Mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic experience a plus.
- Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical repairs would be helpful.
- Forklift experience helpful.
- Good communication skills.
