  • Production of hot mix asphalt including the day-to-day operations and repair of the plant and its components.
  • Plan for routine maintenance and long-term equipment component updates.
  • Supervise the plant tear-down and set up as required.
  • Supervise other employees at the plant.
  • Monitor plant site to ensure safe and efficient truck flow.
  • Perform additional assignments as requested including ongoing in person or online training.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Understanding of hot mix plants and hot mix production (Willing to train)
  • Safety conscious
  • Reaching and feeling, overhead lifting, and repetitive motions are required
  • Talking and hearing; good eyesight (either naturally or with correction); and color discrimination are essential to satisfactory performance
  • Ability to work inside and outside in all types of environments, conditions, weather and seasons.
