Requirements

One year of manufacturing experience or equivalent
Ability to travel for training, possibly for extended periods of time, pre and post commissioning

Nice To Haves

One year steel or industrial metal experience
Experience with monitoring product quality
Electrical and mechanical maintenance knowledge
Prior construction/project experience
Sheet mill experience

Responsibilities

safely operating Hot Mill equipment to produce quality steel products that meet our quality criteria as defined by our customers’ requirements
monitoring and testing of various systems in the mill
supporting the Leadership team with the safety, teammate development, housekeeping, quality, and runtime of the mill
interact effectively with hot mill teammates in a fast-paced, production environment
Ability to work rotating shifts, scheduled and unscheduled overtime including nights, holidays and weekends
