Summary Statement: The Hostperson is at the forefront of the restaurant operation and is the first and last person to interact with the guest. This role will also work closely and communicate frequently with front of house/ back of house management and staff to ensure seamless, successful guest service. Primary Job Duties: – Includes but is not limited to: Greet and welcome all guests upon entering the venue. Bid farewell to all guests upon departing and extend an invitation to return to visit soon. Anticipate the guests' needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency. Oversee daily restaurant reservations and pre-seating assignment, when necessary. Answer restaurant telephone courteously, quickly and efficiently. Perform all opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas. Rotate to other Food & Beverage outlets/venues, as necessary. Ensure all Resorts World core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied. Use personal device/ cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review company documents, etc. Participate in in-house modeling programs, special casino events, banquet service functions, marketing campaigns and advertising and perform model/presenter tasks. Pose for pictures as requested by management, appear in uniform or designated (logo) apparel for promotional activities at or away from venue. Other duties as assigned.
