About The Position

We are seeking a friendly and professional Hostess to join our team in Kenner, United States. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will create a welcoming atmosphere while managing seating arrangements and ensuring smooth dining operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Restaurant or hospitality experience is a plus
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with restaurant POS systems
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for managing reservations
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a warm, friendly manner
• Manage the restaurant's waiting list and coordinate seating arrangements
• Answer phones and handle reservations efficiently
• Provide accurate wait times to guests and manage their expectations
• Guide guests to their tables and present menus
• Maintain cleanliness of the reception area
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure optimal dining experience
• Monitor dining room capacity and table status
• Assist with basic administrative tasks as needed
• Handle guest inquiries and special requests professionally
