About The Position

Circuit of The Americas (COTA) is a 365-entertainment destination for world-class events located in Austin, TX. The sports and entertainment portfolio at COTA is unmatched in the country with Formula 1 US Grand Prix, NASCAR, and MotoGP attracting global fans during championship races on the famed Circuit and LiveNation producing over 30 headline concerts every year at the Germania Insurance Amphitheater. We are seeking a Hostess to welcome guests and support our VIP space during the Formula 1 race. As the first point of contact, this role plays a key part in creating a warm, professional, and memorable experience. The Host/Hostess will manage seating, and guest flow while assisting the front-of-house team to ensure smooth and exceptional service in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.

Requirements

  • Previous hostess, front-of-house, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly, professional demeanor with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work Formular 1 weekend, October 16th- 19th, and work a training shift prior to event.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
  • Manage waitlists, and table assignments efficiently to optimize seating flow.
  • Escort guests to tables and provide menus, ensuring a seamless start to their dining experience.
  • Communicate with servers, back of the house, and management to coordinate smooth service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host and entry area.
  • Help maintain a clean and organized dining area by lightly bussing tables during peak times.
  • Assist with special requests, events, or seating accommodations as needed.
  • Performs other related duties.
