About the position
We are seeking a friendly and organized Hostess/Host to join our team at Sliders Grill & Bar. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and ensuring guests have a positive experience. This part-time position focuses on teamwork in a fun and fast-paced environment, contributing to the overall guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet & seat guests and provide menus
- Answer phones and take over-the-phone take-out orders
- Enter take-out orders correctly into the POS system
- Manage Uber Eats & Door Dash tablets
- Ensure that all to-go orders have been fulfilled properly
- Cash out customers for take-out orders
- Assist service staff during high volume business
Requirements
- Experience in restaurant hospitality
- Ability to work weekends and evenings
- Strong communication skills
- Organizational skills
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of menu items
- Experience with POS systems
