Requirements

  • Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant or food service establishment.
  • Experience handling cash transactions and operating POS systems with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Exposure to fast-paced environments where multitasking and prioritization are essential.
  • Guest-facing experience, demonstrating the ability to interact professionally and courteously with guests and coworkers.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression of the company.
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS (Point of Sale) system, including entering items, calculating totals, and accepting payment.
  • Handle cash, credit/debit cards, and other forms of payment securely and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the accuracy of orders by confirming items and prices with service staff and guests, verifying any modifications or special requests.
  • Maintain a clean and organized cashier station, including restocking supplies, cleaning surfaces, and arranging menus or promotional materials.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Balance cash drawers and reconcile transactions at the end of each shift, following proper accounting procedures.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment.
