About The Position
As a Host at Red Lobster, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to greet every guest with a smile, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated from the moment they enter the restaurant. You will be tasked with accurately quoting wait times and managing reservations, which requires excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Catering to guests by providing special experiences is essential, as you will be the first point of contact and set the tone for their dining experience. In addition to welcoming guests, you will escort them to their tables, ensuring a seamless transition from the entrance to their dining area. Your role will also involve providing a warm farewell and inviting guests to return, reinforcing the connection we strive to build with our community. It is important to focus on both your team and the guests, as every decision you make should prioritize their experience and satisfaction. This position requires a team player who is attentive to detail and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to meet the minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the country where you are applying. The physical demands of the job include the ability to bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 30 pounds safely, as well as the ability to move about the restaurant and remain standing for an 8 to 12-hour shift.
