Programming will bring together those who seek refined and culturally rich experiences. This is Kaiya - Life in Harmony. We are looking for outgoing, enthusiastic individuals with an eye for detail to join our team at the Kaiya Beach House. As a Host/Greeter, you will be an integral member of the team responsible for creating distinctive and authentic experiences for our members and guests. This role focuses on welcoming guests, coordinating seating, maintaining the flow of the dining and lounge areas, and ensuring every guest feels acknowledged and cared for from arrival to departure.

Requirements

  • Flexibility. This is a demanding business and we look for flexibility with work days and hours, but it’s also a lot of fun!
  • People Person. The best part of serving others is creating experiences for them that go beyond the expected.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience passionately providing service to others preferred.
  • Familiarity of restaurant terminology and food service techniques preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet members and guests upon arrival and create a welcoming first impression.
  • Manage guest seating and reservations while maintaining an organized and professional host stand.
  • Monitor dining room and lounge activity to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
  • Communicate guest requests, special needs, or service updates clearly with servers, management, and service team members.
  • Support the service team by assisting with light operational tasks when needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host area and surrounding guest spaces.
  • Resolve minor guest concerns with professionalism and escalate issues to management when necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with management, beach and pool attendants, and other team members
  • Work collaboratively to ensure seamless service throughout the Beach House.
  • Assist other departments when necessary to maintain service standards.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture focused on hospitality, wellness, and excellence.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Perform additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by management.
  • Represent Kaiya’s values through professionalism, humility, respect, and gratitude.
  • Thank guests sincerely upon departure and invite them to return.
