About The Position
Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa offers a blend of Texas hospitality and refined comfort with 500 rooms/suites, 10 private ranch houses, four pools (including an adults-only rooftop infinity pool), Mokara Spa, and 13 food and beverage destinations. The Apron, a suburban destination within the resort, serves creative Texas and California fare with views of Fields Ranch Golf Course. It offers healthy breakfast and brunch, morning pastries, Stance Coffee, and gelato, along with smart, creative drinks from the bar. The menu focuses on seasonal ingredients. This Host position ensures all guests are greeted and seated in a friendly and courteous manner.
Requirements
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to multitask.
- Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift.
- Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10lbs without assistance.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must have unexpired Food Handlers and TABC – or obtain upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- Prior host experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests when entering the restaurant with a pleasant smile and superior customer service.
- Seat guests by finding a clean, available table, pulling out chairs, and placing clean menu in front of guest.
- Answer phone and record reservations for large parties.
- Control high volume outside of restaurant.
- Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety and wellbeing of guests.
- Assist servers when needed.
- Thank every guest upon departure, invite them to return, and wish them a fond farewell.
