About The Position

Greeting guests, providing accurate wait times and escorting customers to the dining and bar areas. For this role, you should have solid organizational and people skills to make sure our guests have a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive until their departure.

Requirements

Energetic, enthusiastic and motivational individual
Must be able to speak and comprehend English
Ability to implement and uphold service standards
Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments
Ability to interact with all associates and guests of the resort
Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time
High School diploma preferred
Valid Food Handler’s Card

Responsibilities

Greet guests at the door and escort, gather information, name (mandatory), special occasion, etc.…
Collect guest information in regards to dining frequency and history
Log pertinent information in OpenTable to create Guest Profiles
Direct guests to the table, walking closely with the guest while engaging subtle conversation
Introduce the guests’ server as they sit down
Responsible for providing chit to appropriate team member
Communicate with the kitchen regarding guests counts and length of wait for tables
Always smile and greet guests with a warm welcome
Maintain cleanliness of work areas and hostess stand throughout the day
Make sure tables are clean and properly set up prior to the guest being sat
Maintain all restaurant assets in pristine condition and report any deficiencies to management
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
Always live by Terranea and Catalina Kitchens Vision, mission and values when interacting with internal and external guests
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support your team to reach common goals
Own guest opportunities and resolve them through empowerment
Anticipate and address guests` service needs, never say no
Check the restroom and perimeter of the restaurant every 30 minutes to ensure cleanliness
Thank guests with genuine appreciation
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors. Clean and up keep Catalina Kitchen.
Adhere to departmental policies and procedures
Effectively communicate with peers, management, line and front of the house employees
Perform related duties as required
Be responsible for the cleanliness of the immediate work area as well as the general property
Be courteous to all guests and coworkers
