Requirements

Prior experience as a Host REQUIRED and/or in a guest-facing role in a fine-dining or upscale casual restaurant is strongly preferred
Strong communication skills with a polished phone manner
Engaging, friendly personality and a passion for delivering excellent service
Ability to manage time effectively and remain organized in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
A positive outlook and a team-player attitude, with a strong commitment to excellence in service
Ability to work well under pressure, balancing guest needs and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere
Professional demeanor and the ability to engage with guests in a courteous and respectful manner

Nice To Haves

Experience with OpenTable is a PLUS
Previous experience in handling reservations and assisting with event coordination is a bonus

Responsibilities

Coordinate the activities of the dining room to ensure smooth, fast, and courteous service for guests
Manage dining room reservations and assist in arranging parties or special events
Provide special services for diners celebrating special occasions
Assist with to-go orders, ensuring accuracy, organization, and timely execution
Collaborate with the management team to assist with special event duties, act as a training resource, and take on ad hoc tasks as needed
Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere
Assist guests with their needs, ensuring they have an outstanding dining experience from start to finish
Ensure the dining room is neat, clean, and organized, providing a professional environment for guests and staff alike
