About The Position

The host must strive to entertain our guests and exceed their expectations through gracious, enthusiastic and personalized service. The host directly offers and/or proactively provides a range of services to our VIP guests. Personalized service to the VIPS and dignitaries visiting the establishment, signing up these individuals with players club cards and explaining the different tier levels with the points the VIP has available, redeeming member points, promoting property amenities, participating in special functions, resolving guest complaints and providing a high level of guest services to a wide diversity of individuals. Must possess great customer service skills and a passion for customer care. Helps VIP (and non-VIP customers as necessary) with reservations for hotel and restaurants. Meets and greets guests in a friendly and courteous manner. Enters all VIP player participation in events, entertainment, parties, and etc. Makes phone calls and/or emails to invites VIPs or potential VIPs to property. Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Be able to obtain/maintain Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma gaming license
  • Ability to maneuver in a casino/ office /outdoor environment
  • Standing, sitting, walking for long periods of time, moving/lifting up to 20-lbs; climbing, stooping, bending, crawling, kneeling, etc.
  • Full range of physical mobility and manual dexterity required
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment and perform in casino operations containing smoke and second hand smoke with high noise level and bright lights
  • Must be able and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Previous customer service experience in a hospitality industry preferred
