Ability to keep up with business needs within the restaurant Work with spreadsheets to handle lost items, lost credit cards, messages for managers, complaints and large party requests. Make calls for the following day's reservations, noting any requests and confirming what we can offer guests. Being knowledgeable of all policies and procedures relevant to guests, and if no answer is available within the set parameters, taking down guest information to call them back. Field event and regular voicemails and complete event inquiries with guests over the phone Be astutely aware of all aspects of OpenTable: how to make reservations, reservation waitlists, etc. Answer department telephone using correct greeting and telephone etiquette. Eagerness to develop food & beverage knowledge. Support the service team to ensure guest needs/requirements are met in a timely manner. Professional appearance and behavior at all times. Walk with graceful efficiency through the bar & dining room to assist with service demands. Able to maintain flexible work schedule including overtime as Must be available to work irregular hours, shifts, weekends, special events and holidays.
