Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Performs duties to greet and seat guests, takes reservations, and assists guests with special needs.
Reviews current guest seating assignments and seats new guests according to seating system in each station.
Anticipates guests coming in and has this information before greeting each guest.
Greets guests by name whenever possible, makes guest feel welcome, sincerely conveys appreciation for choosing to dine with us, and ushers to the appropriate table.
Inputs necessary date into seating system and adheres to seating system recommendations.
Assists staff in duties as requested.
Assists guest with special requests or needs.
Monitors restaurant operations, notifying the supervisor of problems, needs, or guest comments.
Ensures menus are clean and contain appropriate panels and information.
Ensures light levels, music levels, and temperature levels are perfect and adjusts accordingly.
Offers a sincere send off to each guest (“Good night, thank you for coming in,”“Good luck”) and welcomes them back (“Come back soon”).
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Equivalent to a High School education with knowledge of food service is preferred.
• Must understand and speak the English language fluently.
