About The Position
We are currently hiring a Seasonal Host at Chesapeake & Maine. Welcomes guests and coordinates the flow and seating of patrons throughout areas of the building. Answers customers questions concerning the location, history, and our merchandise.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Up to one year related experience or training desired
- Walking regularly throughout the establishment/regularly required to stand
Responsibilities
- Address any compliments or complaints of patrons and relaying the information to management
- Maintains appearance suitable to guests’ expectations and compliant with company policy
- Greets guests, identifies seating plan (directing them to the bar or table), sets up advertising displays, and arranges merchandise in retail area to promote sales
- Daily tracking of any reservations or private events that might be taking place
- Communicates with staff and managers regarding any business situations & requests
- Suggestively sell merchandise to customers; wrap or bag merchandise Cleans shelves, host stand area, surrounding tables, and merchandise area/shelves
- Maintains the wait list
