About The Position
Creative Dining Services is looking for a Host at Hope College! Our Host will warmly greet all guests with a smile and eye contact, creating a positive first impression of our Dining Hall. Manages wait times, checks dining credentials, processes all guest payments accurately, and provides a kind farewell as guests exit.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred
- Basic reading, math, and technology skills
- Bilingual ability preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Answers guest questions and concerns professionally, following proper procedures and involving a supervisor when necessary.
- Learns the meal period menu, and dining room policies in order to answer guest questions.
- Ensures accurate accounting of all transactions, collections, and disbursements during the work shift.
- Assists with general cleaning, stocking, and maintaining overall dining room readiness.
