About The Position

Bamboo Sushi is a restaurant of purpose. Through our food, our service, and our spirit, we create experiences that inspire—grounded in hospitality, connection, and care. We’re excited to be opening a brand-new Bamboo Sushi location in Bend, Oregon in early 2026, and we’re looking for friendly, organized, and guest-focused Hosts to be the first point of connection for everyone who walks through our doors. As a Host at Bamboo Sushi, you’ll help set the tone for the entire guest experience. You’ll work closely with both FOH and BOH teams to ensure smooth service, thoughtful seating, and a warm, welcoming environment.

Requirements

• Friendly, professional, and guest-first attitude
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Ability to stay calm and positive in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to support others
• Interest in learning about Japanese cuisine and beverage offerings

Nice To Haves

• 1+ year of experience in a high-volume or guest-facing hospitality role
• Familiarity with dining room service standards and procedures

Responsibilities

• Greeting and seating guests with genuine hospitality
• Managing waitlists and reservations with accuracy and care
• Supporting FOH and BOH teams to ensure timely and consistent service
• Assisting fellow team members to meet guest needs
• Following all company policies, food safety, and sanitation standards
