Requirements

  • Ability to use reservation systems
  • Professional, articulate, friendly, and punctual
  • Possesses and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional service and willingness to go out of your way to accommodate guests
  • Flexible hours are required (able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays)
  • Confidence in personal style and appearance
  • Must be able to work at a rapid pace while maintaining attention to detail
  • Communication and ability to delegate
  • Skilled in time management
  • This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional appearance in a clean uniform are also required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage reservations on OpenTable
  • Enthusiastically engage guests upon arrival and graciously thank them for dining
  • Manage waiting guests
  • Designate table assignments
  • Exhibit an excellent service attitude and be willing to go out of their way to accommodate our guests
  • Be flexible and able to adjust to meet the changing needs of the restaurant and guests
  • Maintain a level of professionalism and community effectively
  • Use critical thinking to handle difficult guest situations
  • Be considerate and willing to help out fellow teammates
  • Tolerate pressure and work calmly and efficiently during busy times
  • Identify investors and restaurant VIPs and notify their server
  • Communicate changes/events that can influence covers
  • Other tasks as assigned
