POSITION SUMMARY An Andretti Host is a part-time role responsible for anticipating guest needs, and exceeding guest service expectations all while providing a fun and exciting atmosphere. All positions are responsible for assisting guests in various areas, in many capacities, and following Andretti Indoor Karting and Games high standards of quality Guest satisfaction.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
The desire and ability to be pleasant, upbeat and sociable throughout the workday.
Be able to work a varied schedule to include days, nights, holidays and weekends.
Walk or stand for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
Perform functions which require organization, bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing and occasional stocking up to 50lbs.
The ability to communicate quickly and accurately.
Be able to understand, follow and maintain safety standards at all times.

Nice To Haves

Prior guest service or hospitality experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Welcome visitors by greeting them in a friendly and positive manner.
Meet, greet and seat Guests to ensure positive Guest experiences.
Make fair and consistent decisions on seating for Guests and parties.
Provide information regarding all aspects of the restaurant and company including specials.
Tend to guest special needs and request including making sure service staff and kitchen are aware of allergies.
Assist with delivering food to Guests
Support the Busser department in set up, breakdown and cleaning of tables.
Observe, instruct and monitor Guests for safety and guideline adherence.
Assist with Guest recovery and notify manager to ensure positive Guest experiences.
Constant working knowledge of Andretti brand, product and policies and procedures.
Communicate clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with Guests and fellow co-workers.
Perform Opening, Running and Closing department duties as assigned.
Be aware and knowledgeable of facility emergency procedures.
