About The Position

Responsible for providing exceptional hospitality, guest service, and on-site coordination for all catered events within the event space. The Catering Host serves as the primary point of contact during events, ensuring smooth execution, guest satisfaction, and adherence to company service standards from event setup through completion.

Requirements

  • Previous hospitality, catering, restaurant, or event experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to multi-task and quickly think on your feet
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
  • Ability to be self-motivated and take initiative
  • Ability to enforce company standards, policies, and procedures
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments
  • Possess strong communication skills to interact with guests and staff professionally
  • Ability to analyze and resolve problems while exercising good judgment
  • Ability to maintain a neat and clean appearance and convey professionalism
  • Able to stand or walk constantly, 100% of shift
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, lift, push and pull materials throughout shift
  • Ability to assist with moving tables, chairs, and event equipment as needed

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for ensuring a welcoming and professional guest experience throughout all events
  • Serve as the primary on-site host and point of contact for clients, guests, and vendors during events
  • Accountable for assisting with event setup, service flow, and breakdown in accordance with event specifications
  • Review event details and timelines to ensure proper execution of service expectations
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of event spaces and equipment
  • Communicate effectively with culinary, service, and management teams to support successful event execution
  • Monitor event progress and assist in maintaining proper timing of food and beverage service
  • Address guest needs and resolve concerns promptly and professionally
  • Support service staff as needed to maintain hospitality and service standards
  • Accountable for overall guest satisfaction and event experience
  • Additional responsibilities will be assigned as needed and necessary
