About The Position

As a Host for Traditions Hospitality, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests, providing them with a warm welcome and ensuring a smooth dining experience. Your friendly demeanor, organizational skills, and attention to detail will set the tone for our guests' visit and contribute to the overall success of our establishment. Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years old; some locations or positions may require employees to be 18 or older due to operational or regulatory requirements.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must be able to obtain a Gaming License (if applicable).
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Must maintain a presentable appearance and clean uniforms.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and seat them in a timely manner, taking into account server sections and reservations.
  • Manage the waitlist effectively, providing accurate wait times and regularly updating guests on their status.
  • Answer phone calls and assist guests with reservations, inquiries, and special requests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and lobby area.
  • Coordinate with servers and management to ensure a seamless transition between seating and service.
  • Assist in bussing and resetting tables as needed to support the flow of guests.
  • Provide friendly and attentive service to guests throughout their dining experience.
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment.
