About The Position
Hueston Woods Lodge & Conference Center is seeking a friendly and professional Host to welcome and assist guests in our dining areas. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, manage reservations, and ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for all patrons.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Previous experience as a host or in customer service preferred.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and courteously as they arrive.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
- Assist guests with special requests and accommodate seating preferences.
- Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and dining area.
- Provide accurate wait time information and manage guest flow during busy periods.
