About The Position

We are looking for a cheerful and enthusiastic Host to join our team at Adelitas Cocina Y Cantina in Edgewater, CO. The Host will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensuring their needs are met, contributing to exceptional dining experiences.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast POS, is a plus but training will be provided for those new to the system.
• Strong customer service skills with a passion for guest relations and hospitality.
• Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality service.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring an inviting atmosphere.
• Take walk-ins and phone food orders accurately and efficiently using the TOAST POS system.
• Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items.
• Assist with guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during their dining experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in service stations.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth service flow.
