About The Position
Hosts at Southside Tavern Braintree are essential to creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. We are looking for energetic, outgoing, and team-oriented individuals who can multitask effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment. As a host/hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for greeting them warmly, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of guests into the dining area. Your role will also involve coordinating with the serving staff to ensure that all guests are seated promptly and that their needs are met throughout their dining experience. In addition to greeting and seating guests, hosts will also assist with food running duties as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the restaurant. We offer competitive wages based on experience and availability, which includes an hourly tip-out for all tips accumulated during your shifts. The position requires availability for days, nights, and weekends, including Sundays, with typical shifts ranging from 8 to 10 hours. The ideal candidate will be dependable, people-oriented, adaptable, and detail-oriented, thriving in a dynamic work environment. This position is open to applicants under 18 years old, those without a high school diploma or GED, and encourages applications from older job seekers.
