About The Position

The position involves being the first point of contact for customers at the bar and restaurant, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and efficient management of seating and reservations. The host plays a crucial role in maintaining the organization of the host stand and ensuring that menus are clean and presentable. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage the flow of customers effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an organized host stand, and ensure all food and drink menus are clean
• Greet all customers immediately
• Be the face of the bar and restaurant as hosts are the first and last team member customers will see
• Control the flow of the floor with all walk-ins and reservations
• Answer all phone calls including taking reservations over the phone and in-person
• Use reservation systems to seat guests while spreading guests evenly throughout sections
• Report directly to management and General Manager
