About The Position
At The Capital Grille, we believe that every guest deserves an exceptional dining experience, and as a Host, you play a crucial role in setting the stage for that experience. With a warm smile and engaged hospitality, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, welcoming them into our restaurant and ensuring they feel valued from the moment they arrive. Your responsibilities will include engaging in friendly conversation while seating guests, introducing them to their server, and managing the restaurant's waiting list during peak hours. This requires not only excellent communication skills but also the ability to set accurate expectations for our guests regarding wait times. In addition to these core responsibilities, you will also be tasked with maintaining a clean and sanitized environment, ensuring that all guest touch points are regularly attended to.
