About The Position

Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Center is one of New York City’s most celebrated attractions, offering panoramic skyline views and a refined, world-class guest experience. To support peak season operations, we’re seeking professional, customer-focused Hosts who bring confidence, poise, and a strong service mindset to a fast-paced environment. As a Host, you are both the first impression and lasting memory of each visit — setting the tone, guiding the guest journey, and ensuring every interaction reflects the elevated standards of our iconic destination. This seasonal opportunity provides valuable experience within a premier NYC attraction, with potential consideration for future opportunities based on performance and business needs. As a Host, you set the tone for the entire guest experience. Your energy, attentiveness, and professionalism ensure visitors from around the world leave with lasting memories of one of New York City’s most breathtaking landmarks, making your role essential to the attraction’s success and reputation.

Requirements

  • Outgoing, enthusiastic personality with a genuine passion for guest service
  • Consistent professionalism and polished demeanor
  • A “can-do” attitude and solution-oriented mindset
  • Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)
  • Team player mentality with a positive attitude
  • Comfort working in changing climate conditions and high-altitude floors
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime during peak seasons
  • Walking and standing for a significant portion of the shift
  • Ability to work throughout all areas of the attraction, including elevated floors

Responsibilities

  • Meet, greet, and interact with guests in a professional, friendly, and welcoming manner
  • Provide directions throughout the attraction to maintain smooth guest flow
  • Share safety information and helpful insights about Top of the Rock, Rockefeller Center, and NYC
  • Admit ticket holders using wireless admission terminals
  • Load guests into elevators and manage traffic flow at high-visibility areas
  • Identify and resolve guest flow challenges in partnership with leadership
  • Actively listen and respond thoughtfully to guest inquiries
