Chef Loong Dim Sum in West Ashley is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Host/Server to join their team. Requirements

• Previous experience in restaurant or food service roles is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome those eager to learn.
• Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with guests and team members.
• A background in hospitality or guest services will be an advantage in this role.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
• A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to help others are key traits we value in our team members.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly while providing menus and information about daily specials.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the Aloha POS system.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables, maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and address any guest concerns.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
• Uphold high standards of customer service by demonstrating professionalism and courtesy at all times.
• Handle phone inquiries with proper phone etiquette, assisting with reservations or providing information as needed.
