About The Position

The Buffet at Wynn Las Vegas elevates the brunch and dinner buffet experience with a feast of delectable options — including many made-to-order dishes — crafted by Executive Chef Craig Herber and his culinary experts. As a Host Person your role will include: Job Responsibilities: The Host Person is responsible for providing superior guest service that is consistent with Forbes 5 Star Standard rating. All duties and assignments are to be performed according to departmental and Wynn company policy and procedure.

Requirements

  • Must be able to communicate in English fluently and in a professional manner
  • 1 year work experience as host person in a high-end restaurant is preferred.
  • Exhibit phone etiquette, organizational skills, basic computer knowledge (incl. reservations management system) and food/wine service knowledge.
  • Requires the ability to multi-task, work efficiently and within a team environment.
  • Must be available to work all shifts; to include day, swing, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
  • Requires a Clark County Health Card and TAM Card.
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting and seating guests.
  • Assisting guest with reservation via phone and in person.
  • Assisting Managers with table management to maximize seating.
  • Assisting guest with special request.
