About The Position

As a Host Person at Din Tai Fung located at Aria Resort, you'll be the first point of contact, setting the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to greet guests with courtesy, efficiency, and professionalism, all while ensuring the outlet remains clean, organized, and fully stocked. Additionally, you'll support Food Servers, Bus Persons, and Food Service Runners by managing guest contact and table information seamlessly.

Requirements

• Two years experience in restaurant environment
• One year guest service experience
• Six months prior host person experience is preferred
• Familiarity with reservation platforms such as SevenRooms, TripleSeat, Open Table or similar systems
• Confident phone skills and a friendly, professional communication style

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive
• Answer phones and manage reservations, including walk-ups accurately
• Keep menus updated, clean, and in good condition
• Communicate guest needs to the team and share feedback with management
• Check in with waiting guests so they feel acknowledged
• Keep your work area clean and organized, and properly close out your shift
