Requirements

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is preferred.

  • Must be reliable, punctual, and flexible with hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor as they arrive at the restaurant.
  • Provide an overview of seating options, menus, and specials.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous attitude towards guests at all times.
  • Manage the reservation system, ensuring accuracy in guest bookings.
  • Monitor seating availability and assist in effectively seating guests to minimize wait times.
  • Handle walk-in guests and accommodate requests when feasible.
  • Coordinate with serving staff to strategically seat guests based on their needs and server workload.
  • Ensure that the dining area is kept tidy and organized, ready for incoming guests.
  • Relay guest preferences or special considerations to kitchen and serving staff.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries about reservations, menu items, and restaurant policies.
  • Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service throughout the dining experience.
  • Assist with basic cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed to keep the dining area presentable.
