About The Position

The position involves greeting guests, seating them at tables, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center. The role requires maintaining cleanliness, monitoring dining room conditions, and adhering to safety and security policies. It is a full-time, non-management position focused on guest service and teamwork.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and determine the number in their party.
• Seat guests by finding a clean, available table and placing menus in front of them.
• Guide guests through the dining rooms and provide assistance as needed.
• Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings for groups with special needs.
• Ensure place settings are appropriate and complete for each guest.
• Check menus to ensure they are current, clean, and plentiful.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability and guest well-being.
• Follow company and safety policies and report any unsafe conditions.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance and protect company assets.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members.
