About The Position

As a Host/Hostess at Hollywood Casino Aurora, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to greet and seat guests at tables, ensuring they feel valued and attended to from the moment they arrive. You will be the first point of contact for our guests, answering their questions about the property and the services we offer, while maintaining a thorough knowledge of table and seat assignments, operational hours, and proper table setups. In this fast-paced environment, you will need to stay current with our restaurant's beer, cocktail, and food menus to provide accurate information to guests. Keeping the entry area and host stand clean and organized is essential, as is ensuring that the host area is well-stocked with necessary equipment and supplies. Collaboration with your team members is key to delivering high-quality service, and you will assist with table maintenance and cleanliness as needed. Adhering to Health Department regulations regarding food handling and cleanliness is a critical aspect of your role, as is completing opening, closing, and other side duties as assigned. You will also be expected to attend departmental and company meetings and trainings to stay informed and engaged with our operations.
