About The Position

The Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club is seeking a friendly, reliable, and professional Host/Hostess to join our Food & Beverage team. As the first point of contact for our members and guests, you’ll play a key role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Requirements

• Prior experience in hospitality or customer service (preferred but not required)
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Positive attitude and professional appearance
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat members and guests promptly with a friendly attitude
• Present menus and inform guests of daily specials
• Monitor table availability and manage waitlists when needed
• Communicate with servers and supervisors to ensure smooth dining service
• Assist with table clearing and resetting as needed
• Perform cashier duties when required
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host area
• Address member and guest concerns or escalate to management when necessary
• Arrive on time and in uniform, ready to deliver exceptional service
• Attend all required meetings and training sessions
