The Tides Inn is recognized for its elite programming, culinary experiences, commitment to environmental stewardship, and world-class hospitality. The Host/Hostess is responsible for greeting and seating guests in a professional and welcoming manner, ensuring smooth dining room flow and exceptional guest service. This role manages reservations, answers telephone inquiries, and operates the ResPak system accurately and efficiently. The Host/Hostess maintains knowledge of menus, wine lists, and resort information to assist guests and support a seamless dining experience. Success in this role is demonstrated through strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to create a positive first impression for every guest. The position also supports overall restaurant operations by maintaining organized seating plans and assisting with In-Room Dining as needed.
