About The Position

Ensure the highest level of resident and guest satisfaction by offering prompt, professional, courteous, and dedicated services. Actively contribute to the department to complete tasks, meet goals, or manage projects. Overall, this position is responsible for and dedicated to providing recognition, satisfaction, and value to the residents and their guests, while continuously improving efficiency, accuracy, productivity, and service standards.

Requirements

Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Previous host or hospitality experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred
Must have a positive attitude with the ability to remain flexible and patient
Ability to work prolonged periods of standing and walking
Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

Warmly greet and acknowledge each Resident and guest upon arrival, using names when possible and delivering a polished first impression
Accommodate special seating requests whenever possible with discretion and care
Escort Resident / guests to their tables, provide menus, and introduce their server
Answer incoming phone calls and handle reservations and general inquiries professionally
Ensure menus are current and clean
Maintain a clean host stand, entrance, and menu area
Thank Residents upon departure, invite them to return, and deliver a gracious farewell
Adhere to all health, sanitation, and hospitality standards while maintaining an elevated, professional appearance
