About The Position

Hilton Orlando is looking for their next Host/Hostess to join the Food and Beverage Team in FastBreak, their Sports Bar. Hilton Orlando is a vibrant hotel in the heart of Orlando’s International Drive and connected to the South side of the Orlando Orange County Convention Center by a covered walkway. The ideal candidate will hold comparable experience in customer service, ideally as a host/hostess and have full availability to work the ever changing schedule of hospitality. This is a fantastic opportunity for those seeking to begin their hospitality career. Shift Pattern \: PM shifts, starting as early as 2PM and ending as late as 11PM, weekends and Holidays availability required. What will I be doing? As a Restaurant Host/Hostess you would be responsible for welcoming guests and escorting them to their seats for dining in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and ascertain their dining needs
  • Seat guests and manage the seating chart
  • Monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow
  • Deliver In Room Dining food orders to guestrooms, as needed
  • Perform opening and closing duties, as needed
  • Assist others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.
  • Ensure knowledge of menu
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
