About The Position

As a Host/Hostess, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a warm and welcoming dining experience for our members and guests. Your exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to create a positive atmosphere will contribute to the overall excellence of our dining services.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hospitality or customer-facing role is preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to remain composed and courteous under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills and the capability to manage reservations efficiently.
• Familiarity with basic computer systems and reservation software.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality is a plus.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of food and wine is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests with a friendly and professional demeanor upon arrival.
• Manage reservations and waiting lists effectively to minimize wait times.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure a seamless flow of service.
• Respond promptly to member/guest inquiries about menu items, special promotions, and club amenities.
• Monitor the dining area to maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Assist in setting up and organizing the dining room for meal service.
• Coordinate with management to accommodate special requests and celebrations.
• Handle phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member.
• Maintain knowledge of daily specials, menu changes, and wine selections to provide accurate information to guests.
• Thank members and guests as they leave and invite them to return.
