Requirements
- Previous host/host experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a genuine desire to create positive guest experiences
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Familiarity with food service operations and restaurant procedures
- Knowledge of hotel or guest services experience is a plus for enhancing guest relations
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Professional appearance and demeanor, demonstrating hospitality and warmth at all times
- High school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
- Meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Responsibilities
- Greeting guests with a friendly, positive attitude as they arrive, making them feel comfortable and appreciated
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using Toast
- Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times clearly to guests
- Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu or restaurant policies
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth seating flow and timely service
- Assist in managing guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously
- Support the front-of-house team during busy periods by managing guest flow and ensuring a welcoming environment
- Keep the host station clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
