Requirements
- Previous customer service/hospitality/restaurant experience, preferably in a fine-dining setting.
- Basic understanding of restaurant operations and customer service principles.
- Ability to maintain a calm, friendly demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal communication skills for interacting with guests, coworkers, and management.
- Strong organizational skills to manage seating charts, reservations, and guest flow.
- Problem-solving skills for addressing guest concerns and unexpected issues efficiently.
- Required food and alcohol certifications.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and manage seating based on reservations and availability.
- Handle reservations, phone calls, and the seating chart for efficient table turnover.
- Monitor wait times and keep guests informed.
- Communicate with staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
- Address guest concerns or special requests promptly and politely.
- Help maintain cleanliness in the entrance, dining room, and restrooms as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
