About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and personable individual to join our team as a Host/Hostess at "The View" at Colony West. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role or customer service position is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a high-volume environment.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with reservation systems and basic knowledge of restaurant operations.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they enter "The View" and provide a positive first impression.
• Manage reservations and efficiently seat guests, taking into account server rotation and section assignments.
• Effectively communicate with the kitchen and servers to ensure a smooth and organized flow of service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand, lobby, and waiting areas.
• Assist with managing waitlists during peak hours and estimate wait times accurately.
• Provide guests with information about the menu, daily specials, and any promotions.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Collaborate with servers and management to optimize guest satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise.
