About The Position

The Host/Hostess at Hacienda Del Sol Resort is responsible for providing exceptional guest service in the restaurant and bar areas. This individual will greet guests, manage reservations, and ensure that each guest has a positive and memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and outgoing personality, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for hospitality.

Requirements

Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
Knowledge of food and beverage industry is a plus

Responsibilities

Welcome guests as they enter the restaurant or bar area and seat them at assigned tables
Manage reservations and seating chart to ensure timely and efficient service
Communicate with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure timely delivery of food and drinks
Answer guest inquiries and provide information about menu items, specials, and promotions
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including lobby and entrance
Monitor dining room for seating availability, cleanliness, and proper service flow
Assist with opening and closing duties, such as setting tables, rolling silverware, and restocking supplies
Handle guest complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
Follow all health and safety regulations and maintain a safe and sanitary work environment
Collaborate with other team members to ensure a positive and cohesive work environment
