About The Position
Our members only restaurant seeks a friendly, upbeat Host to work day shifts primarily, including weekends and possible nights. The ideal candidate loves making small talk with members and guests and is willing to learn members’ names in our exclusive establishment. He or she should be willing to participate in small talk, take initiative with tasks and use appropriate verbiage when speaking in front of members. Some back-of-house assistance might be needed, such as inspecting/cleaning restrooms. If you love the restaurant business and genuinely enjoy people, we need to hear from you.
Requirements
- MUST BE available to work Thursday through Sunday in order to be considered!
- Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.
- Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.
- Continuous repetitive motions.
- Work in hot, humid and noisy environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet Members as soon as they walk through the door
- Maintain a neat, organized front of house, desk area
- Assist with all opening and closing side work when needed
- Learn food and beverage menu
- Rotate seating between different stations to ensure even workloads for staff
- Answer phones and schedule all dining reservations
- Seat members in a timely manner
