Now Hiring: Host/Hostess Location: Yellowstone Valley Lodge and Grill, Livingston, MT 59047 About Yellowstone Valley Lodge and Grill Located on the Yellowstone River is a one-of-a-kind, small operation offering 22 cabins, a breathtaking event space and a public fine dining restaurant. Employment is Seasonal. First Week of April through October Possibility of working with company at sister properties in off season Housing is not provided currently Hiring Requirements Available all weekends during season unless arranged upon hire Team Members are required to have reliable transportation to job site 13 miles south of Livingston Mt. on two lane highway (not suitable for bicycle commute) Opportunities require enthusiasm for working in multiple roles as needed Follow and promote all O' Reilly Hospitality Management brand and employment standards Basic Position Expectations Display professionalism, kindness and pride in brand, property, team and product Work in a team-based environment Rotate all duties as needed Maintain cleanliness of Front of House areas Communicate product needs to shift lead Work or find management approved coverage for all shifts as scheduled

Requirements

  • Available all weekends during season unless arranged upon hire

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Restaurant or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greets guests as they enter, seating them or placing them on a waiting list as necessary.
  • Provides guests with menus and answers initial questions.
  • Assigns guests to tables while maintaining balanced server rotations.
  • Engages with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service.
  • Responds to guest complaints and helps resolve them.
  • Answers phone calls, takes reservations, and provides information.
  • Maintains adequate knowledge of the menu.
  • Provides world-class guest service.
  • Embraces O’Reach, Green Team, Guest Service, Team Member Satisfaction, Health & Wellness, and Safety culture.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
