About The Position

We are seeking a professional and charismatic Host to be the first point of contact for the iconic Redwood Room. As the face of this historic lounge, you will manage the flow of the room, greet our guests with genuine warmth, and set the tone for an exceptional evening. The ideal candidate balances high-volume efficiency with the sophisticated grace required for a high level cocktail environment.

Requirements

• Exceptional verbal communication skills and a polished, professional demeanor.
• Ability to remain calm and organized under pressure during peak hours.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Previous hosting experience in a high-volume, upscale lounge or fine-dining environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with reservation platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, professional welcome to all guests, managing the door and seating with poise.
• Oversee the seating chart and waitlist to maximize lounge capacity while ensuring a smooth guest experience.
• Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and management regarding open tables and guest needs.
• Maintain a working knowledge of the room’s history and menu offerings to answer guest inquiries.
• Ensure the entryway and host station remain pristine and organized throughout the shift.
