About The Position

Essential Functions: Greets and seats customers. Supplies guests with information on services available on property. Answers phone calls and directs them appropriately. Accurately makes and cancels reservations. Effectively maintains wait and quote times. Takes orders over the phone, ensures all items are in a bag and ready for the guests. May handle cash transactions at the host stand. Accommodates any special needs of guests, i.e., boosters, highchairs, etc. Performs other tasks as assigned. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High school diploma or G.E.D preferred
  • Experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • Previous experience in gourmet or fine-dining preferred
  • Must have a NYS Food Handlers Permit
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required
  • Exhibit teamwork
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task
